How to use
Take 5 to 10 drops daily or as directed by your doctor.
Important: Shake well for 10 seconds before each use to mix the bacteria culture with the oil. We recommend to give the drops by spoon. Do not add to hot drink or food as this may damage the live bacteria.
Pharmacological and clinical effects
Clinical studies have shown that babies with colic have lower counts of good bacteria as well as an increased number of harmful bacteria in their digestive tracts and greater levels of inflammation. This can cause all sorts of digestive problems, including colic.
Studies have shown that certain strains of probiotics can reduce crying time, especially in breastfed babies.
Side Effects
The probiotic strains used in this product are safe. Most of the probiotics are registered as GRAS agents (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the rest are approved by Europe and Japan. Probiotics are well tolerated and can only cause bloating in some patients, which usually improves with continued use. If this complication persists or worsens, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Use With Other Drugs
Concomitant use of antibiotics with probiotics might decrease the effectiveness of probiotics. It is recommended to separate administration of antibiotics and probiotics by at least 2 hours.
